Great. The point of the Iran deal was never to stop them from getting nukes, they would have done it eventually regardless. The point was to integrate their economy to a large enough degree on the global scale that using a nuke would be way too detrimental

@YeshuaRedeemed: That was SOOO long ago. The Shah was hated, if we didn't do it, someone else would have. No, religion created the current regime, and, like all the other Islamic nations in the middle east, it lives under that religion's rules (or, at least, the religion's LEADER rules). They, like Christian leaders, have the habit of re-interpreting the rules to fit the situation at hand.
ALL of our European and Middle East allies confirmed that Iran was living up to its commitment to the treaty Trump pulled U.S. out of. How could they get Nuclear weapons under our scrutiny?? Today, a really faulty foreign policy is getting U.S. closer to war. All the political fluff in the world can't cover that up. WE broke the treaty. We can't go back and correct the "Shah thingy". One of these days a war will start … always started by "THEM". It may well be the LAST one. Time to stop blaming "them". :-(

Our intelligence agencies failed when they were monitoring Saddam's WMD, they failed again when investigating Trump-Russia collusion. They don't have a very good track record.
Regimes such as Iran never take such deals seriously and keep developing whatever they need. It is not that hard when you can just keep denying the observers' access to your plants for made-up reasons, and nobody can possibly know what it is you are developing.
Obama's play on the Middle East was one large blunder, and it is good to finally return to a more pragmatic approach on that front and to stop appeasing regimes, hoping they will return the favor - which they never will.
Iran is a pit of civilisation, and any deal with it is simply going to pull us down to their level and get defeated with experience.

Oh. Well then, it's a good thing it wasn't our intelligence that figured out Iran was complying with the treaty.
